One of the very powerful water purification temples in Bali. Highly recommended. Bring a sarong and a sash ( for a belt ) as well as a towel, a complete set of dry clothes, and a plastic bag for the wet things. They provide lockers so you can enjoy without bags, etc. To make it even more beneficial bring offerings ( flower baskets ) and incense and matches so you can light and offer a prayer or intention before your purification in the amazingly healing water. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do. 🙏

a good place to purify yourself but you'd better take half a day off, because it takes time, and if you don't like cold water very much don't go. because to dip your head in the fountain you wait a long time in cold water. But worth the photos and is a great immersion in the Balinese culture.

A very spiritual place, peaceful, and calm. During busy time, it could be quiet hectic. Don't expect a tourist attraction because this is an actual temple that people still actively pray at. We should mind our manners at all times and there's an area off limits for women on their period.

I have been traveling the world in search of learning about the different religions and philosophies that guide humanity, this was one of the most sacred and pure places I have visited so far. worth every effort to be there. do the ceremony with a free mind and an open heart and you will feel the power of this fascinating tradition.

Had an amazing, fulfilling and spiritual experience. Took shower in the holy water and then prayed in the temple with the help of 2 polite and helpful locals. Please beware, there are so many local shops and sellers outside the temple that irritate you and force you to buy their overpriced products and food items. I do understand that the pandemic ruined their business and income but they should not ruin our peaceful mood. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would certainly recommend you to visit this place.
