Nusa Penida is an island to the southeast of Bali. It is the largest out of 3 Nusa islands. The island is still relatively undeveloped and has an untouched nature. This island answers the question: What would Bali be like if tourists never came? Nusa Penida is famous for its white-sand beaches, incredible nature, and unbelievable landscapes.

How to get around?
Hire a driver
If you are traveling with a group, it's better to hire a driver for the whole day to safely explore the island with comfort, as the roads aren't the best. It will cost you around 500.000 IDR ($35) for the whole day.
Renting a scooter
If you are an adventurous type, scooter is a great option for you, you will be able to get anywhere you want. Keep in mind, that you have to be very careful as the roads are very narrow and get quite bad at certain points. You can rent a scooter as soon as you arrive at the harbor, it usually costs 100.000 IDR ($7), but you can try to bargain.
