Bali for a holiday under 30 days

If you’re travelling to Bali for a holiday under 30 days, this is what you’ll need to complete prior to arrival.

There’s 3 steps!

1: Visa On Arrival ($50 aud)
2: Filling out your online ‘All Indonesia’ Customs Declaration & Health Pass (free)                                                                                                                             3: Tourism Levy ($15)

Step 1: VISA On Arrival

If you’re using a device with a camera (phone, laptop, etc), you can use the new, simplified e-VOA form that allows you to scan your passport with the camera. We would recommend this option as it’s much easier. The form is here

Frequently asked questions

All travellers aged 6 years and older can use the e-Gates

For City, choose Kota Denpasar and it will autofill province to Bali

When departing Bali, use the e-Gates, which are to the right of desk area at Immigration. This will reset your e-VOA and ensure you can apply again without any issues of still having an ‘active’ one.

If flying into Bali, choose Bandara Internasional Ngurah Rai airport.

Generally issued instantly or within 24 hours. Recommend to screen shot your application number and check junk folder.

Step 2: NEW Complete your arrival card

The new All Indonesia Arrival Card is a replacement for the old customs form and health pass – combining them into one streamlined document.

When To Do it?

You can only complete it within two days of your flight, as the form will only allow you to select an arrival date up to two days ahead (could be three, depending on time zone difference).

some tips:

Switch the language to English from the menu to avoid any issues with auto-translate later on. Be mindful that there is no option to review or edit details at the end, so double-check everything carefully as you go.

Step 3: Tourism Levy

Tourism Levy is also separate and is 150,000IDR per passenger. (Around $15 pp). Obtain up to 60 days prior to departure but recommend doing the same time incase plans change

Arrange Travel Insurance

It may not be the most exciting part of planning your trip, but arranging travel insurance is probably one of the most important things you need to do before you visit Bali.
